What happens to my data when the beta ends?
Nothing changes. Everyone who signed up during the beta keeps unlimited grids, free, forever. Your account, your grids, your entries: they stay exactly where they are. Only accounts created after the beta ends will see a paywall. Can I use it for habits, not just savings?
Yes. The grid doesn't care what the number means. People use it to track gym days, books read, kilometers run, no-alcohol streaks, anything you can express as a number that should grow over time. Can I change the grid size?
Not directly. The number of squares is calculated automatically from your goal value, so each square represents a sensible amount (a goal of €5,000 might become 100 squares of €50, for example). You set the goal, the grid sets itself up.What if I make a mistake?
On the dashboard there's an add and a remove button next to every grid, so you can correct a wrong entry by logging the opposite. If that's too clunky, open the recent entries list for a grid and delete individual entries directly. Can I track other units, like km or hours?
Yep. The app doesn't store a unit at all, just a number. Whatever the number means is up to you, and you put that into the grid title (e.g. 'Run 200 km' or 'Read 24 books'). Internally it's all just plain numbers. What happens to my grids if I cancel a paid plan?
Honestly, I haven't fully decided yet. The current plan: you can always export your data, and grids stay viewable, but to keep editing past three grids you'd need to drop back to three or stay on a paid plan. I'll firm this up before paid plans actually launch and update the answer here.Is there a mobile app?
No, and there isn't going to be one. goal-grids.com is a web app and that's the plan, full stop. It works on phones in the browser, and you can add it to your home screen if you want it to feel app-like, but I'm not building or maintaining a separate iOS or Android app.
